Diet: Omnivorous; feeds on algae, detritus, and small invertebrates.

Minimum Tank Size: 100 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Other large, peaceful to moderately aggressive Tanganyikan cichlids. Provide plenty of open swimming space and some rock structures for hiding. Avoid keeping with overly aggressive species.
