Diet: Carnivorous; primarily feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
Average Adult Size: 4-5 inches
Preferred Water Parameters: pH 8.0-9.0, Temperature 75-82°F
Minimum Tank Size: 40 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Peaceful to moderately aggressive Tanganyikan cichlids. Provide plenty of rocks and caves for hiding and establishing territories. Avoid keeping with much larger or overly aggressive species.
