Diet: Carnivorous; primarily feeds on small fish and invertebrates.

Minimum Tank Size: 75 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Other large Tanganyikan cichlids. They are aggressive and territorial, so provide ample hiding spots and rock structures to establish territories. Avoid keeping with much smaller or non-aggressive species.
